Stately Oaks Plantation is a Greek Revival antebellum home in the land of "Gone with the Wind." The plantation grounds are home to the main house, country store, old school house, cook house and much more. The plantation is open daily for tours Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.with the last tour beginning at 3:00pm. Monday through Friday vistiors will enjoy  an MP3 player tour. On Saturdays, costumed docents guide visitors through the home.

Our unique educational tours offer students a memorable hands-on living history experience. Educators can choose from our 1860s Home Front, Native American, or Battle of Jonesboro tour. Each of these school programs meets curriculum-based requirements in Georgia Studies and American History.
